Vacation (NOT) All I ever wanted...

Spring is coming soon, my husband keeps reminding me the countdown of days. I think it's at 55 days to go now.
And after Spring comes Summer and now is the time to start planning the vacation.

And after trying to plan something for the past few weeks, I'm ready to throw in the towel.

We joined a vacation club and had invited family (Mine) to come along on a vacation this year with us. Hubby wants some friends to come too, the more the merrier! I totally agree. I would love having a large group of people to spend time with and I really like having a wonderful week to spend with my mom and of course Baby guy.

EXCEPT... yes here's the 'But'...

Hubby wants to cruise.
My Mom wants to get a condo somewhere and just relax, but she would cruise too.
I could do both...I have been on 3 cruises but I have never rented a condo or villa anywhere and just chilled out.

I first had our vacation club research villa's to rent. Hubby didn't like that, so I call back after they have been researching for me and change the whole thing...Then they call me back to reconfirm what it is exactly I'm doing...And to gently remind me that this is their busy season etc... Meaning 'Hey Lady, Would you please figure out what you want and just go with it?'

We have to think about Baby guy and what he's able to do. SOMEONE wants to leave him home...I cannot imagine leaving him home again, so we can go off and enjoy ourselves. I do not want to exclude him any more. Besides he would normally stay with my mom and she's going to be with us...Hubby suggested his dad watch baby guy, but I honestly would be surprised if he said Yes. I think he enjoys his short term visits with Baby guy and would like to leave it at that.

I am thinking that Baby guy is just a tad too young to join the kiddie clubs on the cruislines. Except we would be able to use babysitting service for about the same fee as a babysitter here at home. I don't know what to do now.

I have to do some research online and see how people made out taking their toddlers on cruises.
